Nikon D700, Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8.
I jumped in the deep end today... made the leap to a honest-to-goodness professional camera - the Nikon D700. I'm still hyperventilating a little because I actually spent that much money (business write-off!), but just having the thing in my hand for a few short hours has shown me that you get what you pay for. The quality of this thing is INSANE. Its got a full-frame sensor (same size as 35mm film), and the difference jumps right off the screen. I'm itching to shoot!

the finger prints on the glass are very...very clear. I'm going to have to have one very clean car..home..kids with that camera. Yikes.
